About Carmin
Carmin believes that human beings were meant to experience unconditional love. When it comes to relationships, Carmin has been through the "school of hard knocks" and from this "school" she learned some valuable life lessons - thus the title of her book, "Lessons Learned: While Looking for Love in All the Wrong Faces."
In addition to counseling and advising college students, Carmin's advice on affairs of the heart, career, book publishing and entrepreneurship has been sought by numerous individuals. Carmin is on a mission to help people see that the key to a happy and prosperous life is to live their passion and purpose. Everyone was sent here to accomplish something that only they can do. Carmin also believes that success does not just happen. Regardless of one's position within an organization or where they are in their life, those who wish to succeed must brand themselves and must believe they can create their own destiny.
Carmin earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of South Florida (Tampa, Florida) and a Master of Science Degree in Management and Administration of Education Programs from Nova Southeastern University (Ft. Lauderdale, Florida). On this note, Carmin says that "Life is a classroom; people and circumstances are our teachers. If we don't learn our lessons well the first time they are presented, life will present them again."

She has worked as an Executive Assistant to a county government official; returned to college at the age of 37 and earned her undergraduate degree in one year; built a highly successful National Institutes of Health Bridges program and served as a higher education student services professional in traditional state universities and proprietary institutions.
Her entrepreneurial journey will intrigue your audience. She has owned a cake baking and decorating business, a wedding and event planning firm and a home-based secretarial service. In addition to her speaking career, Carmin offers relationship and home-based business mentoring and is a internet marketing consultant.
