Abundance - How to Go From Broke to Millionaire

I am truly on a mission to help women live in abundance. I desire to empower women who desire to do so, to really change their lives financially, spiritually, physically and every other "lly" (smile) through entrepreneurship or a career they love!

What you need to know deep in your soul that the financial success that we see others enjoying is available to us as well.

There are no magic potions or secrets to success as an entrepreneur, however, there are some formulas you should follow for success.

Here are six (6) steps that will help you go from being broke (or not financially secure) to becoming a millionaire:

Start where you are. Don't wait for "ideal circumstances" because the ideal circumstance will NEVER arrive. Allow your vision for your life and your business to propel you to start and keep the vision before you when times get tough so you won't give up.

Use what you already have. Do you have and idea, paper, pen, a computer, connections, a car, etc? Yes you do - use those already available resources to start or take your business to the next level. What can you sell that you already possess? Can you sell knowledge, makeup, coaching services, clothes - what?

Duplicate other people's success. Ask questions, go undercover to learn how a successful person in your industry or field became successful. Act like a sponge and devour as much information about how successful people in your industry became successful.

Give people what they want. Ask your prospective customers or your employer what they need from you. It may sound like common sense as you read it now but take it from me, for years I thought I knew what my prospective customers wanted but I did not. I wasted a lot of money and time because of my ignorance in this area. For example, if you sell beauty products and a person tells you, "I've tried using foundation before and none of them look good on me," your next question should be to ask which brand and type of foundation she used. Show that you are willing to work with people who are serious about whatever product or service you are offering. If you work for someone else and are seeking promotional opportunities in your organization, find a mentor or have a conversation with your supervisor.  Ask about professional development opportunities.

Build relationships. Be a genuine people person. Build rapport with everyone everywhere you go. For example, strike up friendly conversations with the cashier at Walmart. Reach out to people who you think can help you; network. If you don't already have one, start a newsletter and stay in contact with your subscribers - often. I don't care what you are selling, you need a mailing list.  Be genuinely interested in co-workers; just be a person who cares about others.

Create systems in your business and in your life. This is one step many people don't want to bother with but you have got to have systems in place.  You need a system in place to make sure your ideal target market knows you exist, a system to stay in touch with them, a system to get paid, and a system to sell them your product or service. When you are speaking with a prospective customer about your product or service, make sure that you get the person to start talking about themselves. Close the sale by sharing how your product or service can help them solve their problem. You won't know what their problem is unless you've done what I suggested in #5.  In your personal life, have a system for everything.  Create strategies to help you save time, money and reduce frustration. For example, when my children were young, because I knew the week would be filled with basketball or cheerleader practice, homework, etc., I cooked several meals on Sunday so that all we had to do during the week was heat food up!

Hopefully, these tips will help you live an abundant, peaceful and organized life!
