What is Life Coaching

Life coaching is a trusted relationship between a life coach and a client.  The coach’s role in your life is to help you reach your maximum potential as a person. People from all walks of life including professional athletes, corporate executives and every day people can benefit from life coaching.

Part consultant, part motivational speaker, part therapist and part rent-a-friend, coaches work with managers, entrepreneurs, and just plain folks, helping them define and achieve their goals — career, personal, or most often, both.

A life coach will help you move forward and set personal and professional goals that will give you the life you really want.

Why You Need a Life Coach

1. Your confidence is not where you want it to be.

Low self-confidence is usually the result of an accumulation of negative experiences that a person hasn’t let go of. A talented life coach can help you work through through those painful experiences and help you live the life you deserve and want to live now.

2. You lack a clear vision for your life or your vision is SO big you feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to start.

You may have a general idea of what you want your life to look like and you may have a general idea of how to get there. A life coach will help you create a laser-focused vision for your life and a road map to reach your desired destination.

3. You are sabotaging your success.

You may have a clear vision of where you want to be but for some reason, you sabotage yourself because of destructive patterns, habits or beliefs. One reason for this is usually because you feel overwhelmed.  Because you are overwhelmed, you tend to procrastinate and make excuses for why you aren’t taking the action steps you need to take to make your vision a reality.   Life coaching will keep you on a clear track.

4. You feel more irritable or agitated than usual.

Perhaps you are not being as kind to your family as you’d like. Maybe you are easily agitated when in traffic or standing in line at the store. Once you act in a not so kind way toward others, you feel incredibly guilty. This is all happening because you are not living the life you desire and deserve.

5. You are in a huge transition.

Perhaps you know deep in your heart that your career, a relationship or a way of life is sucking the life out of your soul and you MUST make a change. Family and friends have their own issues going on.  After awhile, friends and family will burn out if they are forced to listen to and assist with your transition too. A life coach is a great support system to assist you as you go through a major transition in your life.

6. You desire to learn what your life purpose is.

You may be doing exceptionally well in your career, relationships and other areas of your life but you still may feel unfulfilled. You have a strong desire to uncover your purpose that you know in your heart you were sent here to this earth to fulfill. Life coaching can help you uncover or recover your purpose.

“Problems cannot be solved by the same level of thinking that created them.”
