FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • People hire coaches for a number of reasons; some of which are listed below:

  • • Immediately after you pay for a coaching package you will receive an email with specific instructions for what you must do next. However, here are some things you can expect in that first email: You will be asked to visit Carmin Wharton's coaching calendar and secure an appointment for your first coaching call. You will be assigned a call in phone number and the sign in information for your coaching account. In your coaching account, you'll discover an intake form that you must complete prior to our first phone coaching session.

    • You will have thirty-minute (30) minute phone sessions with Carmin Wharton during the length of your coaching agreement; the length of the program will dictate how many sessions you will have but there will be at least three (3) one-on-one sessions with Carmin. You will always call Carmin (she'll be anxiously awaiting your call! The first session will be used to establish what you want to accomplish and to launch you into the first learning module. The length of time of your coaching agreement depends on the coaching package that you purchase

    • In between our phone sessions, you will have assignments and/or tasks to complete.

    • You will be assigned a coaching account that you can log into 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to retrieve and complete assignments, receive messages from Carmin and track your own progress! You will have access to this account for the entire, predesignated timeframe for the coaching agreement and for one (1) week after the coaching agreement ends.

    • If you are a no-show for any of our sessions, the session will not be rescheduled. However, if you indicate via email that you must reschedule, we will reschedule you. Considerate communication is the key.

  • My goal is to help you meet your objectives. The only thing that should keep us from doing that is a lack of follow-through on your part or an unexpected detour in the process. You are strictly in control of the follow-through and we can work together to reroute in the event of an unexpected detour.

  • Tell me! If there is something I can do to provide you with a better experience or outcome, I want to do it.

    Adjusting to a new coach is a lot like adjusting to any new relationship – it requires open communication and getting used to each other. On the other hand, if open communication and adjustments don’t get things on track, we are both better off amicably parting ways.

    You can cancel your coaching agreement at any time, however, you are still responsible for the agreed upon payment amount contained in your coaching contract.

  • How well coaching works for you depends entirely upon what you put into it. Will you follow through? Will you work outside of your comfort zone? Will you be willing to test your results and keep testing until you get your desired outcome? Are you willing to recognize that there are no guarantees, but still give it your best shot?

    If you can do those things, coaching should work AMAZINGLY well for you.

    If you’re looking for someone to do the heavy lifting for you, to “make it happen” without you, or decide what’s best for you – coaching with me is not for you.
